Meeting of AmCham Membership Committee of American Chamber of Commerce in Uzbekistan, a Delaware corporation (non for profit and without capital stock), (the “Corporation” or “AmCham “) was held at 2:00 PM at the Hotel InterContinental in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, on September 4, 2008 ( the “ Meeting”).
Meeting with the Head of Legal Department of the State Customs Committee Mr. Victor Anatolyevich Chipiga. On October 16, 2008, AmCham Trade & Investment Committee held a meeting with Mr. Chipiga to discuss the results of the Questionnaire on “Identifying problems in customs legislation” conducted by AmCham in July 2008. The meeting drew attention of over 30 AmCham members. Mr. Chipiga gave thorough explanations on each of the issues raised by AmCham members in the Questionnaire.
