RUSSIAN FIRM TO CONSTRUCT TEMPORARY ELECTRICITY FACILITIES FOR LUKOIL

Russian CJSC Integrated Energy Systems EnergoStroyEngineering (IES EnergoStroyEngineering) started to design and construct objects of temporary electricity supply to Kandym natural gas deposits group, developed by the Lukoil Overseas. The project will be realized till August 2009. On 28 August, the IES and Lukoil Uzbekistan Operating Company signed an agreement on designing and construction of temporary electricity supply to Kandym natural gas deposits group in Uzbekistan on turn key bases. Lukoil Uzbekistan Operating Company is subsidiary of Lukoil Overseas in Uzbekistan and develops subsidiary of Lukoil Overseas in southern-western Uzbekistan on product-sharing agreement. The project envisages reconstruction of existing 32 km high-voltage transmission line and substation and construction of new 25 km high-voltage transmission lines and substation. The project with the cost of US$6.9 million will be realized from September 2008 to August 2009.
